I was made to be a Beauty Professional...
Styling my hair and doing my makeup came naturally to me, but my journey to get here was not a what I expected.

After graduating college and working in TV advertising sales for 2 years, I decided that a regular 9-5 career was not for me and it was time to pursue my passion and go to beauty school. A year after I got my license I was managing a salon at ULTA. But managing wasn't my thing, so I left to rent a chair in a salon and run my own business. I was in that salon for 9 years when I got the opportunity to open my salon suite.
I am REDKEN Color, Design and Finish Certified, Keratin Complex Certified, and trained in airbrush makeup.
In July of 2017, I opened Angela Marie Hair Salon & Makeup Artistry at Phenix Salon Suites. It truly is my happy place! Its a relaxing environment where my creativity flows and I create beautiful hair masterpieces. I specialize in natural looking, dimensional color, grey coverage and hair cutting.
In the suite, every appointment is a unique, pampering experience personalized to your hair needs. Clients are seen one-on-one which allows me to understand your current and future hair color and style goals without distractions. The goal is to have you leave my chair happy, loving your hair and knowing the right way to style and maintain it!
So much of my time is focused on being in the salon, but my life isn't all about work.

When I'm not in the salon I'm spending time with my son and our cats. Being a boy mom is so much fun! He's sweet, a great helper, and a ball of energy that keeps me on my toes. Most importantly, he's my world, and my time spent with him is most valuable. We both love singing and having dance parties, and his Amazon playlist might be bigger than mine!

IMy other passion in life is my sprituality. I've been on my spiritual journey for 20 years. Reiki, meditation and tapping have gotten me through my worst anxiety and inspired me to get my Reiki certification so I can heal others and incorporate it into my salon services. I believe everything happens for a reason because God has a plan, and there is always a silver lining. I follow my intuition because it always steers me in the right direction.
