Policies and Procedures
To help slow the spread of COVID-19, New York State has provided Hair Salons and Barber Shops with new guidelines for sanitation, disinfection and safety measures, and Phenix Salon Suites has given their suite owners guidelines, too. Please read the following summary so you know what to expect at your next appointment.
All services are by appointment, only one client at a time, unless you and a family member are coming in together. Currently, I am not taking walk-ins.
Upon arrival, you can contact me to let me know you are here or come into the building. If I am not ready for you, you can wait in the hallway or return to your car and I will contact you to come it.
It is suggested for unvaccinated guests to wear a mask, but it is not mandatory for them to be worn. There is NO temperature check but if you are showing any symptom of illness I will ask you to please reschedule your appointment.
Being that the suite is a small space, social distancing is difficult. Please come by yourself, unless you are bringing a child for a service or have an aide.
I am able to provide water for guests, but there will be no more coffee machine in the suite. Magazines will also no longer be provided.
Hand soap and sanitizer will be available for you and it's encouraged that you wash your hands upon arrival of your appointment.
At checkout, you can pay by cash, card or use touchless payments like Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.
PLEASE stay home if you are feeling sick or showing any symptoms of illness. If you have to cancel, I ask that you give 24-48 hours notice so I could open the appointment to other clients.
Between each appointment the suite is sanitized and disinfected. I'll be using a clean cape on each client and all tools will be cleaned and disinfected before use.
